The position looks like it could be somewhat interesting. The pay range seems acceptable. The biggest negative (so far) is that the location is poor. An hour by transit (each way) or around 18km by bike. Depending how things go, I may raise the salary bar some to compensate.
Also, I've had some interest from someone looking for senior(ish) people for a pre-IPO company in Vancouver. First time in many years I've been trolled by an executive search company (though the position is not actually an executive one). Vancouver might work out well; it's on my list of possible relocation sites. It might be survivable in Powerdown, but I'd have to play it carefully. Probably nothing will come of it.
Haven't heard anything about the position that really grabbed me when I saw the listing. Probably not a good sign, but it would have been near perfect: good company, position matching my skills and experience well, accessible location... we'll see.
Other than that, it's been quiet. Either nothing really appeals, or no responses. Still, it's only been a couple of weeks.
(And only a couple of weeks until my trip!)
