Probing Day - Musings of Unayok

I survived Probing Day.

Specifically, a colonoscopy. It's good practise to have one before resection. The results were generally good and as expected. Crohn's has a habit of skipping around the colon. In my case, though, only the very beginning of the cecum show signs of problems, along with a small area around the exit point of the fistula. Neither is apparently much larger than the similar areas seen three years ago.

Does give some boundaries to what's going to be done. And I got to meet (very briefly) the surgeon who will likely be doing the honours. Things might start moving soon...

Now, on to the next bit

Glad to hear nothing too bad happened today... aside from a colonoscopy!

"Even as a small Irken Smeet, my dream was to pass Probing Day like a Slorbeast passes her young: Jiggly, and full of juice!"
